Quick News July 22 2013
Superintendentrsquos Message John P Kronour PhD
The school hallways are quiet without 2600 students and their terrific teachers Yet the
summer months are anything but idle for many district employees Maintenance crews are
busy with the annual rite of renewing and refurbishing our buildings Administrators are
preparing curriculum and readying for the new Ohio Teachers Evaluation System(OTES)
Principals are priming for Open Houses and the 2013-2014 school year The transportation
department is fine- tuning the bus routes to accommodate population shifts and the reinstated
one- mile zone One of the more important summer tasks is hiring qualified energetic
employees Positions became available through retirements resignations and
reassignments The levy passage also allowed the district to restore positions previously cut
because of inadequate funding Please join me in welcoming our newest employees
