Invacare Leo andOrion: The new “stars” of thescootermarket!

Coming in September, Invacare scooters will be going upscale with the intro-duction of two new scooters: The Invacare® Leo™ and Orion™ Scooters.

The Leo scooter has a 350 lb. weight capacity and a striking appearance, setoff by its LED headlamps and brightly illuminated dashboard. Available in silverand blue, it will definitely turn heads on the showroom floor.

The Orion scooter boasts a 400 lb. weight capacity and is a true luxury scooter.Every detail – from the luxurious high-back seat to the tiller-mounted charger port– has received careful attention. The Orion scooter will certainly be the talk of thetown.

wheelchairs – the Invacare® G-Trac™ electronic gyroscopemodule. This exciting new technology improvestracking performance of the power chair usingstandard 2-pole or 4-pole motors – even at veryslow speeds. Ernst Van Dyk Wins Record8th Boston MarathonTeam Invacare athletes placed first in themen’s wheelchair division and second in

the women’s wheelchairdivision in the 113thBoston Marathon heldon April 20, 2009. Bothathletes, Ernst Van Dykand Diane Roy, compet-ed in Invacare® TopEnd® Eliminator OSRracing chairs.

Van Dyk crossedthe finish line in 1:33.29,

more than three minutes ahead of the second-place finisher. His win matches Jean Driscoll’stotal as the most ever at Boston, and it was VanDyk’s eighth first place win in nine years. Amember of Team Invacare since 1998, Van Dyknow has the 2012 Olympics in his sights, as wellas a record ninth Boston Marathon.

Invacare has been a proud sponsor and supporter of theNational Veterans Wheelchair Games since the event’sinception 29 years ago.
