Founded in 1956, Comelit Group SpA is an industrial company operating on a worldwide scale and specialising in the design and manufacture of video entry, home automation, anti-intrusion, video surveillance, access control and fire protection systems. The company has a strong international vocation thanks to its close ties with the area in which it was created and in which its headquarters are still located today.

A smart home is a home in which everything should be simpler, where even the smallest ac-tion is optimised. Scenarios are created with this in mind: combinations of several home automa-tion actions activated with a touch, according to a schedule or following an event. For example, for the optimal waking experience, you can set the “Good morning” scenario which, at 07:00 from Monday to Friday, raises the roller blinds, switches on the music in your room and un-sets the alarm. Guests for dinner? A simple tap on your smartphone activates the “Dinner with friends” instant scenario, switching on the music in the sitting room, turning on all the lights and making sure the room is heated perfectly. Is it raining? No problem, the system will close the shutters for you and will stop the watering sys-tem from being activated!

The dynamics of the modern lifestyle tend to ac-celerate the pace of our activities. It's almost in-evitable that the distraction that accompanies a hurried departure can cause forgetfulness that can often be costly. Leaving the lights on in the home soon starts to take its toll on the bottom line of the electricity bill. That's why Comelit has designed an integrated lighting management system. Apart from the practical "Go Out" sce-nario, which transmits a series of programmable commands, the system can switch off house lights automatically when it detects that no one is home.

The Comelit APP is enriched with a new fea-ture: in addition to the management of the vi-deo door entry and intruder alarm systems it will now be possible to control the Comelit home automation system from the App itself. At the end of a simple association procedure betwe-en the App and the Comelit Hub device, it is possible to interact with your system to activate scenarios, set the desired temperature, turn off the light that you forgot about, enter the alarm system, answer the video door phone directly from the smartphone and from the tablet. It is also possible for the user to manage multiple sy-stems (for example the main house and a possi-ble second home), create scenarios, timers and much more. These are just some of the features available on the new version of the Comelit App that becomes the only user interface for Comelit systems. It will also be possible to use the App in existing home automation systems by simply adding the Comelit Hub device.

Comelit Hub is the Comelit home automation module used to manage your system remotely from wherever you are, using your smartphone or tablet. If you leave in a hurry you may forget to turn off a light, set the anti-intrusion system or set the thermostat to a lower temperature.

Thanks to Comelit Hub you can now simply use an app to access your system and control lights, raise or lower blinds, activate or deactivate the heating system, activate scenarios, check the status of the anti-intrusion system, view con-sumption figures for your home and send com-mands.
