monastic family of forty monks with ten men in formation and are located in northwest Arkansas. Find out why men are coming from across the nation to become a monk at Subiaco! Others only let you come and see an abbey, but we let you “plunge” right into monastic life. These four days will allow you to pray with us in choir, work alongside other monks, eat and recreate with the monks, and learn the basics of monastic life from our chant and prayer to our vows and work. Take the “monastic plunge” and see for yourself if God may be calling you to the monastic way of life--even in Arkansas! Contact Fr. Elijah Owens, OSB, at 479-438-9115 or www.benedictinemonks.org
