    It is mandatory that the new and old electrical plan of the

    building are using a special devices in order to achieve some levelof automation and intelligent control.

    The Automation system (BACS/HBES) are targeting the

    maximum energy efficiency for the building base on the internal

    and external environment condition and providing the best levelof Comfort , security, safety, and quality

    .

    A real case: MART RoveretoItaly

    the MART (Modern art museum of Trento and Rovereto) it was consumingin 2006 2.300.000 kWh.

    With building automation control the saving was :

    28.5% of electrical energy

    354 ton of CO2 - like 100 cars per yearBreck even cost in ONE year!!!

    Conclusion

    energy efficency = saving = a new form of energygeneration .

    you have to think all the plan in the building as an

    integrated solution So heating and lighting the are working

    together for the best performance.

    in 2009 it is not possible to think energy startegic plan

    without a smart way of handling energy and building

    automation is a technolgy available today and ready for the

    tomorrow
