CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Panel BlockCut 9 squares 8” x 8” from the red panel

Simply Red BlockCut 4 strips 1¾” x WOF from red dotsCut 4 strips 1¾” x WOF from clean white solidCut 44 squares 3” x 3” from clean white solidCut 11 squares 3” x 3” from red buntings

Posts and SashingCut 30 squares 2½” x 2½” from red ginghamCut 49 rectangles 2½” x 8” from pink dots

Border 1Cut 6 strips 5½” x WOF from red floral

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

Simply Red BlockSew a 1¾” red dots strip and a 1¾” clean white solid strip together. Press. Repeat with remaining red dots strips and clean white solid strips. Cut the strips into 1¾” segments. Sew the segments together to create 44 Four-Patch Units.

Referring to quilt photo for placement of fabrics, sew together 4 Four-Patch Units, 1 red buntings 3” square, and 4 clean white solid 3” squares to create the Simply Red Block. Repeat to make 11 Simply Red Blocks.

Posts and SashingRefer to the quilt photo for post placement. Sew a 2½” red gingham square to a 2½” x 8” pink dots rectangle. Repeat to make a row with 5 posts and 4 sashing rectangles. Repeat to make 6 rows labeled A.

Sashing and Panel and Simply Red BlocksRefer to the quilt photo for block placement. Sew a 2½” x 8” pink dots rectangle to a Panel Block or Simply Red Block. Repeat to make a row with 5 sashing rectangles and 4 Panel or Simply Red Blocks. Repeat to make 5 rows labeled B.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the quilt photo for row placement. Lay out rows A and B. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be a 50”. Top and bottom borders should be 50½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from The Simple Life Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
