Conventional conveyor belt scrapers– even those featuring a segment-type design – provide a serious dis-advantage: They are either not ableto sufficiently adapt to the variousdegrees of wear across the beltwidth or they reach this functionusing mechanical components thatare exposed to extreme contamina-tion by the conveyed material whichmeans they do not operate with thesufficient operational reliability.

Series 990 was designed for opti-mum cleaning below the belt usingcarbide blades for heavy-duty beltinstallations. Its unique twin config-uration ensures the load is distrib-uted between two blade bases andthe overlapping blade geometry en-sures uniform cleaning across the en-tire scraping width while only mini-mum force is applied to the belt.

The model 995 requires less installa-tion space. Here the overlap of theblades is achieved by using alternat-ing short and long blades.
