REPORT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF ASIA PACIFIC IAP CONJOINT MEETING WITH THE

INDONESIAN ASSOCIATION OF PATHOLOGIST / IAP INDONESIAN DIVISION. Details of this meeting are as follows: Date: Aug 11-13, 2016 Venue: Planet Holiday Hotel, Batam, Indonesia. Speakers: Combined local and overseas speakers. Overseas speakers included Maadh Aldouri (UK), Shahid Pervez (Pakistan), Fernando Schmitt (Luxumburg), Puay-Hoon Tan (Singapore), Gary Tse (Hong Kong), Pongsak Wannakrairot (Thailand), and Yu-Hung Wu (Taiwan). There were also 16 local speakers from major centers from Indonesia. Program of the meeting: a three day comprehensive program covering topics in gynecologic pathology, urologic pathology, breast pathology, dermatologic pathology and head and neck pathology. Topics in cytopathology were also covered. Totally 498 participants including pathologists and residents took part in this meeting. There were in addition 42 free paper presentation, 93 poster presentation and 19 research proposal presentations.
