RATIONEL AURAPLUS PREMIUM

How to use the Rat ione l Aurap lus Premium f i les.

Select Arch i tecture - Window.

In th is example, the Rat ione l AURAPLUS Premium double frame window f ixed l ight is app l ied.

Dec ide which open ing funct ion you want for the window. Th is wi l l be v is ib le in the e levat ion.

Set the parapet he ight o f the window in the wal l . Th is is measured from the leve l in which you have p laced the window and up to the lower edge of the window.

Decide the pos i t ion o f the mul l ion in the window. The d istance is measured from the r ight s ide of the window, seen in e levat ion.

In Properties, you can choose between different settings.

Open a new Pro ject and draw a wal l or use an ex ist ing Pro ject .

Click on Load Family

Please note that a l l w indows and doors are be ing produced with a s ize l imit due to the manufactur ing of the e lement. Would you l i ke to know, whether we can produce your product in the des ired d imension, p lease contact Rat ione l to f ind a so lut ion.

Remember to make a copy when mak ing any changes.

The s ize o f the window may be changed here. Remember to name your new copy in order for i t to make sense compared to the s ize o f the window.

In the layout as wel l as in the sect iona l drawing, the window wi l l be qu i te s impl i f ied, and there wi l l be no opt ion to change the deta i l leve l , regard less of whether you choo-se Coarse, Medium or F ine in Deta i l Leve l .

Se lect the e lement to see a wavy arrow pas-s ing across the window. Th is is a Ca lcu lat i -on Po int which you may use, when prepar ing schemas to show in which room number, the window is p laced. A l ternat ive ly, i f work ing with an inter ior door, i t may i l lustrate which rooms the door is connect ing.

Shou ld you want a more deta i led window, there is a Deta i l Component opt ion for the e lement. Some f i les wi l l have two f i les, one layout and one sect iona l f i le , and others may on ly have one, where you can see both the window sect ions and layout . C l ick Annotaate - Component

Load Fami ly

Determine the deta i l you want to app ly. You may load more than one at a t ime. I t is mere ly important that you are load ing deta i ls and not windows, when you have entered the Component Category. In th is example, the deta i ls assoc iated with the window are Rat ione l AURAPLUS Premium double frame window f ixed l ight DETAIL PLAN and Rat ione l AURAPLUS Premium double frame window f ixed l ight DETAIL SECTION.

As soon as the f i les are loaded, they may be p laced on top of the window, e.g. in a layout .

Pu l l down to en large the deta i l .

When the deta i l is as large as the window, i t w i l l cover the window complete ly.

In Propert ies, you wi l l have an opt ion between a 149 mm frame and a 123 mm frame.

In other f i les, you might encounter other opt ions.
