We all hope the New Year brings you health and happiness and lots of time for quilting! We will be closed New Year Eve and Day to do some inventory but OPEN HOUSE will be the following Sunday, January the 3 rd , 12-4 P.M. Along with the opportunity to meet the teachers and see new projects, we will be premiering a new line of Thimbleberries fabric at the event. Yes, you read correctly. Lynette decided to come out of retirement and design a new line of fabric and we have purchased the whole collection for our Thimbleberries enthusiasts. Don’t forget the Folsom Quilt Show is the last weekend in January, the 29 th -31 st . It will be fabulous, as usual, with fantastic quilts and a fashion show. Come see our booth, we will have some wonderful new things just for the show as well as a special sale. If you have been waiting for Edyta’s new Laundry Basket line “Color Daze”, it came in yesterday. It is full of charming, soft blues, sweet pinks, rich browns, sparkling yellows and a delightful set of light backgrounds. The collection includes a printed panel of vintage blocks that lends itself to many uses, including a terrific backing, or cut up, it takes on the appearance of many different fabrics. We have not forgotten our 1800’s fabric enthusiasts either. Di Ford of Quiltmania fame has designed her first new line “Cloverdale House”. It is early century, (1790-1810) so the colors are lighter and less muddy. The detail is incredible, it replicates old block prints. The Dorian column print contains elaborate birds and minute botanical elements. It comes with a free pattern on line with nine patches on point and an unusual use of the column print in the border. If you are into cool, clear color, we have purchased a line of fabric from Riley Blake’s new designer, Lori Holt. She is into bright small calicoes in cherry pinks, strawberry, daisy yellows, denim blues and mint greens. This fabric comes with three preprinted fat eight panels, to give you a piece of everything. “QUILT RUSH” is coming! The theme this year is “Quilting The Blues Away”. We have designed a special blue and white quilt for the event. We also change the class- room into an additional display area. Of course, we will be serving treats and will have extra helpers to assist you with any special needs. Do not forget to set aside April 13- 17 th . In the meantime, we hope to see you in the store. Cancellations are accepted up to 7 days before the class begins, with a store credit given, good

for one year or a refund. If Quilters’ Corner cancels a class, you may take a store credit or a refund.

is a new on-going pattern club designed by

Jill Shaulis and Vickie Olsen featuring the primitive

style they are known for and the fabric Jill

designed for Windham fabrics. New pattern

designs available every 6 months and new fabrics

every 9 months.

The $30 enrollment fee allows you to purchase

exclusive club patterns and kits every month.

Meetings are scheduled the first Saturday of the

month starting at noon with an optional sew time

for $10 to work on projects.
