EDDIE MONEY “CELEBRATES THE SEASON”
WITH FELLOW ROCKERS LOU GRAMM & MICKEY THOMAS Rock „n‟ Roll Legends Ring In The Holidays With “Jingle Bell Rock” Tour
Three of Rock „n‟ Roll‟s greatest singer/songwriters of all-time will
soon share the stage to perform their string of unforgettable, memory-
making hits and holiday tunes as part of the 2011 Jingle Bell Rock
tour. Featuring Eddie Money, Lou Gramm - the voice of Foreigner
and Mickey Thomas of Starship, Jingle Bell Rock kicks off the day
after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 25, and runs through mid-
December. The concert event promises to be a one-of-a-kind, “must-
see” as Eddie, Lou and Mickey sing the classics they‟ve become
known for such as “Take Me Home Tonight,” “Two Tickets To Para-
dise,” “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Jukebox Hero,” “We Built
This City,” “Nothing‟s Gonna Stop Us Now,” and many more.
The three superstars will share the same band and often appear to-
gether on stage, taking turns showcasing their musicianship as profi-
cient instrumentalists and singing backup for one another. The idea
was cemented via an in-the-moment appearance (and an impromptu test-run) where the trio wowed the audience at
Hollywood‟s ultra-hip Sayers Club this summer as a sneak-peek to the upcoming tour.
A 17 date trek, Jingle Bell Rock will see the trio traverse the Midwest and East Coast before heading west for the
tour‟s finale. Fans across the country will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience as the trinity of classic rock-
ers also perform renditions of holiday classics as well as a few surprises. In an effort to spread joy to those less for-
tunate and share the spirit of the season, the artists have plans to give back to the community in the form of cash and
food donations to local charities.
About Eddie Money:
Eddie Money is the definition of blue-collar Rock „n‟ Roll. The iconic singer/songwriter, who was once an officer of
the New York Police Department, had his first taste of success in the late „70s with singles such as “Baby Hold On”
and “Two Tickets To Paradise.” To read more about Eddie Money go to www.countryentertainmentusa.com or
www.eddiemoney.com
About Lou Gramm:
Among the most distinctive and powerful voices to emerge from Rock and Top 40 radio, Lou Gramm - the lead vo-
calist and co-writer of the multi-platinum band Foreigner, as well as a successful solo artist in his own right - re-
mains one of the most notable performers in music today. Gramm, the vocalist on 20 Top 40 singles, which continue
to drive sales of nearly 80 million albums worldwide, exploded onto the international music scene with Foreigner on
the chart topper “Feels Like The First Time” in 1977. To read more about Lou Gramm go to
www.countryentertainmentusa.com or www.lou-gramm.com
About Mickey Thomas:
The soaring voice that propelled the multi-platinum selling band Starship through the „80s and „90s, Mickey Tho-
mas has established himself as one of Rock music‟s biggest stars. Thomas first made his mark on music in 1976 as
the lead vocalist on the mega-hit “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” with The Elvin Bishop Group. In 1979, Tho-
mas joined Jefferson Starship, after the departure of Grace Slick and Marty Balin, and the group immediately scored
a No. 1 hit with “Jane.” To read more about Mickey Thomas go to www.countryentertainmentusa.com or

Von Grey • Make Some Noise • www.vongrey.com
The title of this CD, Make Some Noise is a little misleading because there is no “noise” here. The
four sisters, ranging in age from 11 to 16, blend their harmonies around songs they have written
and polish them with vocals that are smooth and pleasing to the ear. They have taken their classi-
cal training and mixed it with elements of bluegrass, country and pop to produce the von Grey
style. Of the six songs on the CD, “Eyes On Your Honey” stands out. These girls have a bright
future on the horizon.

Jed Dunkin • Dixie To Detroit City • www.jeddunkin.com
Down-to-earth country music with familiar life lyrics fill Jed Dunkin‟s CD, Dixie To Detroit City.
This production is all about a country boy sharing his thoughts and emotions from good times in
“Dixie To Detroit City” and “Family BBQ” to more serious matters in “Daddy‟s Song” and “She
Won‟t Let Go.” He also mixes in a little country gospel with “Come On Home” and “Gloryland.”
While Jed‟s vocals are a little rough around the edges, it is a nice straight ahead, no frills country
package.

Sell Out Evening For The British Country Music Awards
Sunday the 23rd October 2011 was the British Country Music Night Of
The Year when the BCMAwards were held in London at The British
Airways Concorde Suite. The queues to get in were around the build-
ing at 6 pm waiting to get into this prestigious night for British Country
Music. The doors opened at 6.30 and within 15 mins the venue was
full. The evening kicked off with one of last years winners The Hayley
Oliver Band who warmed up the audience before 70s/80s star Alvin
Stardust took to the stage for a couple of songs including a new version
of 16 tons. He was then joined by Sylvie Blackmore from the BBC to
host the Awards. 16 Awards were ready to be announced plus two in-
ductees into the British Hall Of Fame.
Live performances were supplied by the house band C'est La Vie who
backed the following artists Donna Wylde, Chris Mercer, John Permenter,
Darren Busby, MT Allan, and special guest from the USA Johnny Counterfit
who with his vocal impressions left the audience screaming for more. C'est
La Vie rounded off the evening with 30 mins of top class music.
In between the performances the Awards were announced by Alvin and Syl-
vie, with the sponsors giving the Glass Award to the lucky winners. The
International act was won by Brad Paisley who accepted the Award a few
weeks before at his London O2 performance. A filmed acceptance speech
was shown. Jim Duncan took to the stage and awarded the two inductees
Iona Boggie and Charlie Landsborough with their Hall of Fame awards.
Iona was present with a Welsh film crew and Charlie was on tour, so sent in
a video acceptance, with Lee Williams handing over the award to Charlie
on tour this week. For a full list of winners go to www.countryentertainmentusa.com

Music Icon Ricky Skaggs Named Entertainer of the Year and Musician of the Year
At 17th Annual ICM Faith, Family & Country Awards
"I always try to entertain folks with good clean fun and stories from my youth," says Skaggs of the Entertainer of the
Year nod. "I always try to bring the gospel message of hope in Jesus Christ to our shows as well. I think now more
than ever, people all over the country need hope. I'm very thankful to have won this award. I certainly look up to all
of the people in this category. They are taking the gospel out to the folks who really need to hear it. Thanks again so
much. It means a lot to me."
This year marks Ricky's 50th in the entertainment field, and his rise to the top has been unparalleled in music his-
tory. From his days as a valued band member for artists like Ralph Stanley and Emmylou Harris, to the release of
his first solo recording in 1981, Skaggs has taken his lively, distinctively American form of music out of isolation
and into the hearts of audiences across the country and around the world. Skaggs was honored to be chosen from
among the very best of musicians, and says: "It means a lot to have been included with pickers whom I so admire. I
am honored to have won Musician of the Year." Credited with "single-handedly saving country music" in the mid-
80s by renowned guitarist and producer, Chet Atkins, Skaggs has since blurred the edges of various genres, but
maintained his unique musical individualism. www.rickyskaggs.com • www.ICM-Awards.com
Tribble Reese Searches For His Princess on Season 2 of CMT‟s Sweet Home Alabama
We are living in a time in which real-
ity television has clearly become one
of the most noticeable trends of the
decade and it doesn‟t take an enter-
tainment enthusiast or a helpless tele-
vision addict to realize this. I for one,
hardly ever turn on my television, yet
I continually hear so much about vari-
ous shows that I stay educated and in-
formed whether I care to and whether I ever tune in or
not. However, if there are two channels I do watch
from time to time, it tends to be GAC and CMT. In the
midst of my CMT watching a couple months back, I
stumbled upon a new reality show called “Sweet Home
Alabama.”
Sweet Home Alabama can be described as the country/
less Hollywoodized version of the popular Bachelor/
Bachelorette reality show in which an attractive indi-
vidual opens up their life to the public as they are on
the quest for love. What particularly makes SHA stand
out is the different approach it takes in comparison to
other dating shows. Each season features 11 contest-
ants from the city and 11 from the country all vying for
the heart of the same person…and the person they are
competing for is always country. The question raised
is: will the bachelor or bachelorette stick to their roots
by Holly Marie Tong
and surroundings of what they know or will they fall
for someone from the opposite side of the fence that
may take them to a different part of the country and
introduce them to a new lifestyle. The show features
outdoor activities, visits to the big city and a wide vari-
ety of beautiful dates and adventures.
I was immediately taken up with season 1 because of
the realness I sensed in the country bachelorette, Devin
Grissom. For the finale, she had a tough decision to
make between horse trainer Adam Moyer and former
Clemson University quarterback Tribble Reese. While
Devin chose Adam, Tribble still won as he is the fea-
tured bachelor on season 2. Two episodes have aired so
far and Tribble has narrowed the field down to 16 girls.
We‟ve already witnessed a visit to an alligator farm,
the country girls shooting a deer, a cooking event,
muddy high heels, Tribble‟s first kiss, first date, cat
fights, and other dramatic filled moments. My favorite
contestants at this point are Cassie Rupp, Tristan Smith
and Paige Duke.
Each season consists of 8 episodes and this week is
episode 3 in which, Tribble will eliminate more poten-
tial princesses. For more information visit

nights at 9pm to see what all the hype is about!
The Season of Change by James Tyler The leaves will change soon
There will be a myriad of colors
Cool weather will seek our skin
The animals will go into their slumber
The smell of chimneys smoking
Will drift in the wind
The season of change is upon us
It will get dark sooner
As the time will fall back
The squirrels will get their last acorns
The bears will find their dens
Winter’s breath will be upon us
The restless wind will blow
In our faces when we venture out
The sun will meander behind clouds
The moon will fill the night air
And the trees’ shadows will be cast
Is it God who causes all of this
The piles of leaves in the backyard
That children love to jump in
The beauty of trees in the valley,
Or the trees that adorn the mountain
And the time of thanksgiving is upon us
We must remember what got us here
Whether the season of change is in our hearts
Or our lives are such that change isn’t required
The ride to this point must be remembered
So we can change things on that road
That we call life
Time is the supreme teacher
Take notice of the fall
The inevitable is upon us
Seek the truth of the seasons
From summer to fall
From fall to winter
From winter to spring
For the inevitable is the change
And that is the truth
