Pro Motion Hire

Pro Motion is a broadcast equipment hire company that delivers an unrivalled service by listening to its clients’ needs, offering the best technical advice, and investing in the latest equipment including high definition, solid state and other tapeless technology.

Founded in 2005, Pro Motion’s core business is the dry hire of broadcast equipment from acquisition to post production. The company supports a wide variety of customers internationally, including independent production companies, lighting camera operators, audio visual production companies, post production facilities and broadcasters.

Pro Motion’s equipment is primarily used for factual programming, documentaries, corporate work, sports broadcasting and multimedia, while its Cine Motion division handles mainly digital film and promo work.

Headquartered in London’s Waterloo, Pro Motion also has a regional office in Brighton which services the South Coast and surrounding counties.

Pro Motion is proud to operate in partnership with its customers in order to provide a seamless and stress-free service that compliments the creative process. In parallel with the continual developments in new technologies Pro Motion offer training programmes, workshops and demonstrations to give clients the confidence to use new equipment that will further enhance their productions.

Cine Motion

Cine Motion is the digital cinema division of Pro Motion Hire that was formed in early 2010. It was created off the back of the huge demand generated by the arrival of DSLR cameras into the moving image market.

This equipment has been embraced creatively by our existing custom-er base and it has also led to new customers and more importantly new partnerships.

Digital Cinema has become a division in its own right and it was felt it needed to be branded accordingly. Cine Motion sends a strong mes-sage to the creative industry that we stock a comprehensive range of equipment in this area.

This year we are getting serious about Cine Motion and this is reflected in the investment of new kit and designated Cine Motion staff. Ollie Wesley has joined the company from a digital cinema background to head up the department. He has a wealth of experi-ence advising clients on their equipment requirements and supporting them through the production process.
