Based on the programmatic examplescited here and the health concerns and context of Rukungiri District, thefollowing outlines recommendations for a pilot pre-hospital trainingprogram in Rujumbura County. A detailed description of the pre-hospital lay first responder training program for RukungiriDistrict can be found in the Appendices section, includingtraining narratives, didactic information, case scenarios, someillustrations, and an example certificate of completion.
