An exciting twelve week team building course, aimed at young people aged between 16 -25yrs, who are not in education, employment or training. An opportunity to develop confidence, new skills and gain a Prince’s Trust qualification in employment, team work and community skills.

An exciting twelve week team building course, aimed at young people aged between 16 -25yrs, who are not in education, employment or training. An opportunity to develop confidence, new skills and gain a Prince’s Trust qualification in employment, team work and community skills.
PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS
3 courses run per year in each of Salford, Manchester and Tameside
Work placements secured at national and local businesses including Marks & Spencers, community radio (All FM), dog grooming salon, local restaurants, cafes and garages
Community projects delivered on every course including creating gardens and artwork on open spaces, at community allotments, schools and supported acommodation
Team challenges completed on every course including entertainment at residential homes for the elderly, Christmas refreshments at a local church and pop up café at a local school
Identifying and recruiting young people
Providing highly skilled tutors to support, motivate and inspire young people through the qualification
Working in partnership with colleges, local press and housing associations to recruit young people, and deliver the community projects and team challenges
Providing work placements
Delivering the programme to meet the high quality standards of Princes Trust and our Partner Colleges

Increase confidence and understand own skills Using informal learning and team building and identifying future targets and action plans

Identify, plan and deliver a community project Take action, work as a team and fundraise
Gain a work placement experience Practise skills learnt so far and gain valuable experience
Develop employability skills Attend CV writing workshops, complete applications and practise interview skills
Making a local impact going out into the community to support local organisations and projects
Deliver a personal presentation Create and deliver My Journey presentation at final celebration
Achieve a Prince’s Trust Level 1 Certificate In Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills
