GC 428When the work of investigation shall be ended, when the 

cases of those who in all ages have professed to be followers of Christ have been examined and decided, then, and not till then, probation will close, and the door of mercy will be shut.

GC 490When the work of the investigative judgment closes, the destiny of all will have been decided for life or death.

And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having thseal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the fourangels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,  

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, tiwe have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: [and the

were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of all thtribes of the children of Israel. 

7BC 979The time of God’s destructive judgments is the time of mercyfor those who have no opportunity to learn what is truth. 

Tenderly will the Lord look upon them. His heart of mercy is touched; His hand is still stretched out to save, while the doors closed to those who would not enter. Large numbers will beadmitted who in these last days hear the truth for the first 

time. 

Rev 6:14‐17Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and everymountain and island was moved out of its place.15 And the 

kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the 

mountains,16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on usand hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!17 For the great day of His wrath

has come, and who is able to stand?"

GC 593The events connected with the close of probation and the work of preparation for the time of trouble, are clearly 

presented. But multitudes have no more understanding of these important truths than if they had never been revealed.

Col. 1:28…warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we

may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Col. 4:12

…that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.2 Tim. 3:16,17

All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all 

good works.
