Preliminary Calendar

▪ Calendar opening before the Convention (copy of previous year calendar to be amended)

▪ Entries in on-line system as complete as possible

Calendar (at Convention)

▪ Amendments to the Preliminary Calendar (dates, venues)

▪ MFs to make last amendments directly in ARENA (PC terminals and own devices)

▪ Other partners information (IAAF, WMRA, IAU, etc) entered by European Athletics

Calendar Management (after Convention)

▪ Changes only through the European Athletics Head Office – Competition Department

(only through the Member Federations)

General

▪ Regulations for each event on the European Athletics website

▪ Team Online Entry System through ARENA for all events: MF to appoint Entries Manager(s)

- Closing time of all entries systems: 14:00 CET

- MFs shall use the chance to print the summary to carefully verify their entries before closing

Entries Data

▪ Preliminary Entries: accurate information to assist the LOCs (numbers & logistics)

▪ Final Entries: final information (names & detailed logistics)

▪ No additional athletes will be accepted after the closing of the Final Entries

Penalties

▪ Exceptional changes to entered athletes, until the final confirmation deadline of the first

competition day (EUR 1500 per case) (Not applicable for ETCH, ETCH-CE and ECCC)

▪ If MF declared PE and does not take part in the event or if FE are higher or lower in 20% in

regards to PE figures (only applicable if higher than 4)

Appointements for European Athletics Events and Meetings

European Athletics Panels

Member Federations:

▪ shall train and prepare their officials for the evaluations

▪ may propose adequate candidates to the evaluations (every 4 years)

▪ are informed on their officials appointments

The European Athletics Permit system may be revised from 2019

Member Federations:

▪ shall inform on National Champion Clubs: Cross Country, Track & Field (seniors & juniors)

▪ use ARENA to provide such information

▪ provide the list of eligible athletes (bona fide members of the club)

European Athletics Statistician: Mirko Jalava

▪ Regularly send national results, national records and annual best lists (guidelines)

▪ Immediately send results to European Athletics Statistician before any EA Event

▪ Inform European Athletics Statistician on the National Official Statistician

European Records

▪ MF responsible to comply with EA record ratification requirements

▪ Outdoor (Senior, U23, U20), Indoor (Senior, U20)

▪ Immediately send form/relevant documents

▪ Doping test immediately after the event (EPO for: Races > 200m and C. Events)
