Considered to be the world’s smallest volcano, Taal Volcano can be found in Tagaytay City. It is located about 70-km south of Manila on an island inside a lake called Taal Lake. What makes Taal Volcano more unique is the fact that the volcano itself has a lake of its own inside its crater which is called the “Crater Lake”. The hike begins on the island’s shore and ends at the rim of the main crater lake via the regular trail. No worry, a Taal volcano trek is easy. Mt. PINATUBO VOLCANO " The Sleeping Giant Awakens" In June 1991, after more than four centuries of slumber, Pinatubo Volcano in the Philippines erupted so violently that more than 5 billion cubic meters of ash and pyroclastic debris were ejected from its fiery bowels producing eruption columns 18 kilometers wide at the base and heights reaching up to 30 kilometers above the volcano’s vent.In its wake 847 people lay dead, 184 injured, 23 missing, and more than 1 millon people displaced. Hundreds of millions of dollars in private properties and infrastructure lay in ruins which would require tens of billions of pesos and several years to rebuild. For months, the ejected volcanic materials remained suspended in the atmosphere where the winds dispersed them to envelope the earth, reaching as far as Russia and North America. This phenomenon caused the world’s temperature to fall by an average of 1 degree Celsius. Clearly, Pinatubo’s eruption signals the world’s most violent and destructive volcanic event of the 20th century.

Early morning(EST. 4AM) will be heading Capas Junction, where you will be transferred into a 4x4 vehicle and start your Pinatubo Adventure. Mount Pinatubo is part of a chain of volcanoes which lie along the western side of the edge of the Island of Luzon. Before the Catastrophic eruption of 1991, Pinatubo was an inconspicuous volcano, Unknown to most people in the surrounding areas. Today the mountain is one of the famous tourists attraction it the country and attract many tourists.Trekking in the Pinatubo is a life time experience, It’s a 1.5 hour 4X4 jeep ride up to the starting point where you begin walking up to the crate, takes about 2 hours. You have to be in good shape for the walk, it is not an easy trek for old people and kids. However most of the people doing it and enjoying at any age!

Night of Day 112-2am Depart Manila to Banaue, the home of the famous rice terraces. On the way we will cross several provinces up to Banaue. The Banaue rice terraces, or as called here, “Hagdan-Hagdang Palayan ng Banawe”, are 2000 years old terraces that were carved into the mountains of Ifugao in the Philippines by ancestors of the indigenous people. We call it The eighth wonder of the world! After Est. of 10 hours ride, Arirval and check in at the hotel for over night.

Day 1 – Two options:A. Batad village trekkingUpon arrival to Banaue, Jeepney, the local manufactured vehicle that remind the American military jeepney’s, will pick us up at the hotel and will take us to the Batad saddle, where the trek down to Batad village begin. The way to the Saddle will take around 1.5 hour off-road. From the Saddle you will walk down to the village, Batad village located in the center of the fascinating Rice terraces valley. Upon your arrival to the village you will meet the locals, the natives who lives there, You will cross the village and will climb up to the rice terraces view point, where you can see the whole valley and the village at the center. If there is enough time and energy, you will be visiting the falls behind the mountain. Afternoon time start climbing up to the Batad saddle and Back to Banaue Hotel for an overr night. B. Hapao Rice TerracesUpon arrival to Banaue a Jeepney will pick you up and will take you to the view point of the rice terraces of Banaue, from there you will head the Hapao rice terraces. Visit at the wooden craft workshop and Hiwag village. Later at the evening of that day you can visit the market of Banaue, a small but cute market with unique souvenirs from the north. Back to the hotel for an over night.

Day 2 After Breakfast you will be heading to Sagada through Bontoc junction. Sagada, the picturesque lovely town, where there is no time. In Sagada you may view the Hanging coffins where the natives used to bury their relatives, Visit the caves where water under your legs and bats above your head, Nice water falls and friendly people. After a day tour in Sagada, you will head Banaue to spend the night.Day 3After Breakfast, not very early, proceed to Manila, the way takes about 10 hours.
