Mid-Richmond AthleticsLast Thursday was a very successful day for Woodburn PS at the Mid Richmond Athletics Carnival. Although there was some
rain and drizzle about, our students gave it their all and we had some impressive results. A huge congratulations to Luke Stewart (Senior Boys) and Oscar Healy (11yrs Boys) who were the Age Champions from the carnival! A fantastic effort in a tough field of competitors.
Well done to all those that made it on and thank you to everyone that participated on the day. Mrs J was very impressed by the level of support our students had for each other and the behaviour was commendable.
I’d also like to thank Mr and Mrs Fields from Evans River for their organisation and preparation and also to the teachers that helped run the day.

This week we have been working with our 3D printer and the Bloxels STEM kit. Bloxels allows students to create their very own video game by designing straight onto a game board with small colourful cubes. We then used the Ipad app ‘Bloxels Edu’ to edit and build backgrounds, characters and artwork.
