The Woodburn Firehouse Cook-Off operates as a non-profit organization founded by

local firefighters which hosts a competitive BBQ cooking contest to raise money for

charitable organizations.

Mission Statement

This local community event attracts the best of local and state emergency services

personnel and other amateur BBQ teams to compete using their talents as cooks to

provide a fun social family oriented event that everyone in the community can

participate in.

In the last two years we have cooked 500 Lbs of Pork Shoulder for the Meals

This year there was 13 teams competing…

So there was 13 different samples of ….

In the last two years the teams have given away as free samples…….

•Baby Back Ribs – 610 lbs
