Challenges

Challenges about children

It is important to understand the range of challenges children entering our Rainbow Home have experienced in the

past and may currently be experiencing.

These stressful life events can impact a child’s ability to develop skills, learn information and get along with other

children and adults. As a result children are at greater risk for delays in their development.

On the positive side there are a lot of things the Home does to help improve the development of a child in their life and

help them handle their feelings and behaviour in an appropriate way.

Proper medical examinations are done

Child welcomed into the Home

Get to know the child in your care and help identify her stress and areas of need with regard to development

and behaviour.
