What was the hippie trend?

began to expand in America in the late 1960’s.

hippie events included, Summer of Love, followed by Woodstock Festival in 1969.

In San Francisco large groups of people were highly attracted to this way of life and the hippy movement increased and popularised

Hippy outfits were based upon bright colours, high skirts, and long hair covered with flowers emphasising their passion towards peace and anti-war.

British Fashion designer

opened a clothes shop in Kings Road, London, called Bazaar in 1955.
