Decorating the church for Easter Season If you are able and would like to help prepare the church for Holy Thursday and for Easter, please call the rectory at 330-833-6898 and leave your name and phone number. Each day should only take 1 to 1-1/2 hours to complete. It is very easy work and makes our church look beautiful.

Good Friday Collection

Pope Francis has asked our parish to support the Pontifical Good Friday Collection, which helps Christians in the Holy Land. Your support helps the church minister in parishes, provide Catholic schools and offer religious education. The Pontifical Good Friday Collection also helps to preserve the sacred shrines.

The wars, unrest and instability have been especially hard on Christians. In these times of crisis, the Pontifical Good Friday Collection provides humanitarian aid to refugees.

When you contribute to the Pontifical Good Friday Collec-tion, you become an instrument of peace and join with the Catholics around the world in solidarity with the Church in the Holy Land.

PLEASE BE GENEROUS!

Stewardship: “Pilate again said to them, ‘Then what shall I do with the man whom you call the King of the Jews?’ And they cried out again, ‘Crucify him.’” – MARK 15:12-13

Jesus told us “whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.” Every day we are presented opportunities to help someone. Every day we have the opportunity to see the face of Jesus in others and be the face of Jesus to others. Every day we pass by someone in need. Pray for the strength and courage to be the answer to someone’s prayer.

REMINDER: Please remember that masks are to be worn at all times and should only be removed to receive the sacrament of Holy Commun-ion. We are so blessed to be able to hold Masses in person, so we must be strict in following the health department guidelines in order to remain open. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

*Note: We have asked liturgical ministers to remove their masks when-ever they have a speaking role in the Mass in order to be better heard and understood.

Thank You!

Dear Parishioners,

As you all know, we served our last fish dinner of the Lenten Sea-son this past Friday, so I thought it only fitting to say “thank you” to everyone who made it such a success.

First, I would like to thank everyone who ordered dinners each week. We hope you enjoyed them and we appreciate your patron-age!

Second, I would like to thank all of our volunteers. Each week, we had several confirmation students, graciously coordinated by our Director of Religious Education, Miss Amy Davis, help package meals, and several school teachers helped serve meals and keep the line of cars moving.

Finally, I would like to thank Mrs. Ann Majors, for graciously agree-ing, once again, to be the chef behind all of the wonderful food that was prepared. Her recipes and willingness to give of her time and talent each Friday are a true example of what stewardship looks like.

Make it a great Holy Week!

Fr. Brian

DO YOU WORRY A LOT?

On the desks in the narthex there is a Novena by Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo (A prophet of our times – 1882-1970) given to him by Jesus to help us to trust totally in Him. It’s called: I Surrender Myself to You Jesus, Take Care of Everything. It will change your life!
