GENERAL LAWS OF FASTING AND ABSTINENCE:
The days of abstinence and fasting are: Ash Wednesday and
Good Friday; all Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence.
Canon Law determines that the obligation of abstinence from
meat commence at the age 4 (on the 14th birthday). The
obligation of fasting commence at the age of 21 (on the 21st
birthday) and cease at the age 59 (on the 59th birthday).

SPRING BREAK SESSESSIONS FOR CONFIRMATION:
All students in the 1st and 2nd Year Confirmation Program
are required to attend the Spring Break Sessions; from
Monday April 2nd through Thursday April 5th, from 10 a.m.
till 12 noon. First year will report to the Parish Hall and
Second Year will Quietly report to the Church. These
sessions are part of the Confirmation program. Thank you!

EASTER DUTY OBLIGATION:
After they have received their First Communion, Catholics are bound by the
obligation of receiving Holy Communion at least once a year. This precept should
be fulfilled during the Easter Season. Catholics are also bound to confess serious
(mortal) sins at least once a year, this is not limited to the Lent/Easter season.

SUGERENCIAS PARA MANTENER A NUESTROS NIÑOS SEGUROS: Padres y tutores les pedimos que por favor NO pierdan de vista a sus niños cuando están en la iglesia. NO permitan que los niños vayan solos al baño o al auto. Los niños necesitan la supervisión de sus padres o de otro adulto siempre cuando asistan a un evento en la Iglesia. Los niños nunca deben quedar sin supervisión en un auto.

CLASES PARA PAPAS Y PADRINOS DE PRIMER A
COMUNION Y CONFIRMACION:
Las clases para padres y padrinos de Primera Comunión y Confirmación que no han hecho o no han terminado sus clases de preparación para ser Padrinos de Primera Comunión o Confirmación. Las Clases serán el Lunes Marzo 26, Martes 27, y Miércoles 28 de 7:00 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. en el Templo. Favor de llamar a la oficina para registrarse.
OBLIGACIÓN Y RESPONSABILIDAD DE CUARESMA: Después de haber recibido el sacramento de la primera Comunión los católicos están ligados a la obligación de recibir la comunión por lo menos una vez al año, este precepto se debe de cumplir durante el tiempo de Pascua. Los católicos también están ligados a confesar serios pecados (mortales) por lo menos una vez al año, esto no está limitado al tiempo de cuaresma o pascua.
ALIANZA SOBRE EL ENVEJECIMIENTO: Únase con nosotros para una experiencia única para personas de la mayor edad. Con cafecito y compañeros, platicaremos sobre recursos para fortalecer su bienestar. Este evento es gratuito. Todos están invitados incluyendo la familia y cuidadores de personas de mayor edad. Este evento será en el Salón Parroquial de la Iglesia Santísima Trinidad. LA PASIÓN El contraste entre la lectura procesional de la liturgia de
hoy y la proclamación de la Pasión es asombroso.
Vislumbramos cuán profundamente la Palabra de Dios se
cumple en Jesús.
Primero Jesús debe ser acogido como el Mesías, el que
viene en nombre del Señor. Debe ser reconocido por todos,
aunque no sepan lo que están diciendo. Todos piensan que es
el rey prometido; un rey terrenal de los judíos que los librará
de la ocupación romana. No comprenden todavía, ni siquiera
los discípulos, exactamente a dónde se dirige su procesión
triunfal. Nosotros tampoco sabemos a dónde estamos yendo en
nuestra vida. En la fe podemos seguir a Cristo dondequiera que
nos guíe, porque estamos seguros de que la muerte no es el
final y el mal no será el vencedor.

aguas que la nutren. Bendice a la gente que vive, trabaja y se recrea aquí. Bendice a aquellos que primero habitaron y amaron este lugar enseñándonos el respeto por tus dones. Bendice a la gente que llego antes que nosotros y quienes encontraron sustento en el mar, araron y plantaron en los campos y criaron a sus hijos para honrar tu generosidad.
