Baptism: Classes in English are on the 1st Tuesday of the Month at 7:00 pm. Please Call the Office to Register for a Class. After attending class, the baptism date is to be scheduled through the parish office. Marriage: Couples need to schedule a meeting with the priest at least six months before the proposed marriage date to begin the necessary preparations for the sacrament of marriage.
Quinceañeras: Our Lady of the Valley Quinceañeras! Requirements include to be a part of Good Fighters in Family Ministry and the one-day Quinceañera retreat. You can register in the parish office Monday through Friday. 208-459-3654
Bautismo: Se requiere instrucción pre-bautismal para padres y padrinos. La clase en español es el primer Miercoles del mes a las 7:00 pm. Despues de asistir a clase pre-bautismal, fecha para bautisar se proveera por la oficina parroquial Matrimonio: Se requiere que parejas interesadas en celebrar su matrimonio en la Iglesia se comuniquen con el sacerdote por lo menos con seis meses de anticipación a la fecha deseada para la boda, con el fin de cumplir todos los requisitos para el sacramento del matrimonio.
Quinceañeras: Nuestra Señora del Valle misa de Quinceañeras Se requiere que se inscriban en el ministerio familiar con Good Fighters y asistir al retiro de Quinceañera. Se pueden inscribir en la oficina de la parroquia de Lunes a Viernes. 208-459-3654

By the time of Advent, people are:
Exited that Christmas is a little over one
week away; worried they haven’t found a
present for someone; tired of all the com-
mercials, or, just hoping it will all be over
soon. If one of the above
descriptions applies to us, we need to listen
to the words of St. James in the second
reading, “be patient.”
Patience is more than sitting idly
waiting for something to happen. It also
entails seeking understanding. If this time of
year causes us stress or angst, we should
spend a little time with the Church in reflec-
tion on what we celebrate. As we receive
insights of understanding, the distress we
had will disappear.

está: Emocionada de que la Navidad esté a
poco más de una semana; preocupado de que
no hayan encontrado un regalo para alguien;
cansado de todos los comerciales, o
simplemente esperando que todo termine
pronto. Si una de las descripciones anteriores
se aplica a nosotros, necesitamos escuchar
las palabras de Santiago en la segunda
lectura, "sean pacientes."
La paciencia es más que estar de brazos
cruzados esperando que algo suceda.
También implica buscar comprensión. Si
esta época del año nos causa estrés o
angustia, deberíamos pasar un poco de
tiempo en la Iglesia para reflexionar sobre lo
que celebramos. A medida que recibamos
ideas de comprensión, la angustia que
teníamos desaparecerá.

The Idaho Catholic Men’s Conference 2020
The Idaho Catholic en’s Conference will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Boise Centre East. The conference theme is "Be Not Afraid" and will feature dynamic national speakers including Patrick Coffin, Dr. Mario Enzler, and our own Fr. John Mosier. Tamale orders will be distributed on Sunday, December 15, after the mass you selected on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex. We will have a limited number of tamales available outside of the orders we received. First come, first served. All proceeds will be applied to ICYC registration scholarships.
