Third PhaseLivelihood project, by providing fishing boats to fishermen affected by

the typhoon. The areas we are helping are all coastal areas and depended on fishing

as their main livelihood. 95% of fishing boats were lost rendering the victims with no

means of livelihood. Fishing boats will be given as a venture capital managed and

operated by responsible small fishermen cooperatives. Capability and managementcompetency building will coincide with the project to ensure the projects success.

Expansion- The Rotary Care Center expanded its operation to Tacloban

City and other areas badly hit by the typhoon feeding another 1,250 persons per

    day.
