The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQAC
All NAAC accredited institutions will submit an annual self-reviewed progress report to NAAC, through
its IQAC. The report is to detail the tangible results achieved in key areas, specifically identified by
the institutional IQAC at the beginning of the academic year. The AQAR will detail the results of the
perspective plan worked out by the IQAC. (Note: The AQAR period would be the Academic Year.
For example, July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013)

Best Practice I
Value Added Education
Value added Education for the students is the need of hour. As we know, truth and
righteousness are inherent qualities of a Human being. Due to Developmental
changes moral value are deteriorating day by day, So,Value Added Education is
must for the personality development of the students.
„Value‟ are guiding principles to act with clarity, prudence, determination and
result orientation
What Type of Value Added Education Imparted to the students?
In this practice, we teach students about the scientific reasons behind the
traditional beliefs and value. We try to inculcate the moral values through
various teaching techniques and exercises or Activities like essay, short stories
Lectures etc. It is evident that feeling of nationalism and patriotism is
deteriorating among the new generation and they are guided by the evil values
and negative impact of globalisation and multicultural intermingled values are
clearly shown by the increasing graph of crime and violent incidents in society.
So it is high time to show them the path of righteousness
Action for value added education
Apart from NSS, NCC & Gandhian Study Centre is doing its best to give value
added education; by organising Lecture series, Seminar, Nukkad Natak, Essay
and Poster Competition and Skill development workshop. We are trying to
inculcate the value of labour and self reliance among our students. Every
department organise a lecture on value added education as lecture on eminent
leaders and their works, importance of family, society and rich culture of India
etc.

Social Responsibility, Extension Activities (Adoption of Village)
Our College has adopted a village in 2015-16. Our aim is to develop this village,
“Pabarsa” about 15 Km away from the city, through our departments‟ extension
activities. There are lots to be done in this village and as our College feels our
social responsibility towards society. We will organise different awareness
programme on health issues, education, employment, women rights awareness,
child labour, human rights awareness and environmental issues etc. Our
students are willing to go there and offer their best services what they have
learnt from our college
