Welcome! The University of Illinois at Chicago Sociology Department, along with the Graduate Student Council, are excited to host this year’s Chicago Ethnography Conference. This graduate student conference brings together interdisciplinary ethnographic work. The conference theme, On the Ground: Ethnography and Contemporary Social Crises, has brought together ethnographic work on topics such as Youth & Migration, Bodies & Disabilities, Racialized Identities and Policing Boundaries.
