RESOLUTION NO. 16-01

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BUDGETS FOR CY 2016 OF BARANGAYS II, III, BAGONBON, CODCOD, QUEZON AND NATABAN, ALL OF THE CITY OF SAN CARLOS

WHEREAS, Sub-section (a) of Sec. 333 of R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government

Code of 1991, provides that: "Review of the Baran gay Budget. - (a) Within ten (10) days from its approval, copies of the baron gay ordinance authorizing the annual appropriations shall be furnished the sangguniang panlungsod or the sangguniang bayan, as the case may be, through the city or municipal budget officer ";

WHEREAS, same section further stresses that: "The sanggunian concerned shall have the power to review such ordinance in order to ensure that the provisions of this Title are complied with";

WHEREAS, the Local Finance Committee of the City Government of San Carlos has already

reviewed the Annual Budgets of Barangays II, III, Bagonbon, Codcod, Quezon and Nataban, all of this

city, through duly certified Review Letters and found them to have complied with the budgetary

requirements, set forth in R.A. 7160;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. LASTIMOSO, duly seconded by Hons. ANTONIO and UY, it was

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVES, to approve the Annual Budgets for CV 2016 of Barangays

II, III, BAGONBON, CODCOD, QUEZON and NATABAN, all of the City of San Carlos, itemized as follows:

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Review Letters of the Local Finance Committee and the detailed Financial

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to furnish copies of this resolution to the City Mayor, City Budget Officer, City

Accountant, City Treasurer, City Auditor, DILG, and the aforementioned barangays, this city, for their information.

UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED: January 7, 2016.
