The NSS Day Celebrat ion was organised on 5th November , 2011. The function was attended by several dignitaries including, but not limited to, Mr. Sudatta Chowdhury, SDO, Kharagpur and Prof. A.K. Majumdar, Deputy Director, IIT Kharagpur. The volunteers presented their groups’ s current activities and future objectives. Then, there were performances involving both the volunteers as well as the community members. The meritorious students were awarded scholarships.
