Cllr Tom Kelleher told the County Leader that, “a joint motion from the Swords councillors demanding that the momentum is kept going and that the castle be opened up immediately.” Kelleher has been very vocal in the past about the need to demolish the buildings that are in Council ownership, that are blocking the views of the castle to passing motorists and pedes- trians. Up to now, this has not been possible, as the barber’s lease was not finished. Now this has all changed. Kelleher said, “We now demand that Swords Castle be exposed. It costs nothing to demolish these build- ings, except for the cost of removing the rubbish.” Local business people have long been very crit- ical about the southern end of North Street and they claim that the pres- ence of these derelict buildings is having an adverse affect on busi- ness. This area has been neglected for many years and is seen as a continu- ation of the vacant build- ings on the northern end of neighbouring Main Street. They feel that this is having a detri- mental effect on busi- ness in the town and that the local authority now has the opportunity to break this continuing link of derelict build- ings. Motorists, including visitors accessing Main Street from North Street, are likely to be delayed in traffic at this busy junc- tion and some of these could be potential investors in the town. The first impression many of them will have of the town are these buildings and the ones on Main Street as well. Many regard it as strange that these buildings, which are in the shadow of County Hall, have been allowed to stay and that no action has been taken by the powers that be to remove them. Instead of having to look at dreary buildings, viewing the castle from this vantage point would be regarded as a pleasant site for motorists as they pass by or wait in traffic. Swords has grown very rapidly in the recent past, and is a town that attracts visitors from all over the country, most notably on St Patrick’s Day, where the large parade attracted people from far and wide. Residents, who spoke to this newspaper pointed out that this is the year of the Gathering and would be an opportune time to further develop this project. This would be seen as a vital step towards the regenera- tion of Swords Castle as a major tourist attrac- tion for visitors and as a public amenity and event venue to be enjoyed by all. Swords man, Richard Fleming is about to make a name for himself later this week, when he represents Dublin in this year’s Macra na Feirme Mr. Personality contest. Twenty two year old Richard, who lives on Rathbeale Road in Swords is a member of North County Macra. He was flabber- gasted when he was selected to represent his county at the prestigious event, which will take place in Kilkenny on Friday, 19th and Saturday, 20th April. Speaking to the County Leader, Richard explained how the whole thing came about. “I’m a new member of Macra, having heard about the organisation from my cousins. They encouraged me to join. I’m not from a farming background, although my parents are. I put the idea to the back of my mind. Then I decided to attend one of the local meetings in Swords and at that meeting, I decided to join up.” “It was after attending the local meetings that I decided to enter the Mr. Personality competition for the fun of it, but never thought I would be selected. “He went on to explain that there is a popular miscon- ception that you have to be from a farming back- ground to join Macra. “You don’t need to have any knowledge of farming to join,” the DIT student said. He is unsure about what to expect at the convention. “I believe that they ask you about your most embar- rassing moments and quiz you about your hobbies and about yourself. “It’s a bit like doing your driving test - you don’t know exactly what’s around the corner,” said the affable Richard. There will be 26 contestants in the final on Saturday night and, despite the presence of some very stiff opposition, Richard is confident of bringing home the title of Mr Personality to Swords at the weekend. Sale of Work ForBalbriggan MealsOn WheelsBalbriggan Meals on Wheels held a Sale of Workrecently at their base on Hampton Street inBalbriggan. The fundraising committee workedhard gathering donations to ensure the eventwas a success. Balbriggan residents came along to support theorganisation and bought an item or two and therewas also a raffle organised on the day, with greatprizes for the winners. “We would like to say abig thank you to people who came along tosupport us on this occasion as they always do,”said a member of the fundraising committee.Balbriggan Meals on Wheels is a nutritional andsocial service which has been providing for thecommunity of Balbriggan since 1976. Theyprovide approximately 70 meals on eachTuesday, Thursday and Saturday to people inBalbriggan, Balrothery, Balscadden and Man OWar. The food is freshly prepared and cooked inthe purpose built kitchen in the Parish Centre onHampton Street. Balbriggan Meals on Wheelsreceive funding from HSE for the part-time co-ordinator and a portion of the meals costs, butotherwise have to raise the balance of fundingthemselves, so the support of the local commu-nity is vital for these fundraising events.

Council To RepairRivervalley Pot HolesThe County Council haveconfirmed to Cllr Darragh Butler(FF) that they plan on carryingout permanent road reinstate-ment works in the next fewweeks at the Forest Road /Rivervalley junction and alsobetween Hawthorn Park andBoru Estate. Temporary, imme-diate improvements were put inplace last week when the worstof the pot holes were filled in.Butler welcomed this news, as he said he hadreceived a number of phone calls and emailsregarding the Forest Road and the Rivervalley junc-tion in particular. Further works to reinstate thedamaged road areas, due to repairs on the 30”watermain, between Rivervalley and Highfield areplanned for later this year.

Cycling Now PermittedIn Newbridge Park Local area activist forDonabate/Portrane, Clara La Combre(FF) has expressed her delight thatcycling, after being prohibited inNewbridge Park for some time, ispermitted once again. She told the County Leader that acycling ban was placed on the park latelast year, when a few minor accidentswere reported, but after receiving somecomplaints from local residents, sheliaised with the County Council and ishappy to report that this has beenreversed and locals can now cycle, provided they give right of way to pedes-trians. “In late 2012 ‘no-cycling’ signswere erected in Newbridge Park by theCounty Council, and I was very

concerned about this as I know familiesuse the park to teach their children tocycle,” she said. “It really is the safestplace to do so and many locals wereupset that a cycling ban was put in placebecause of this. The village is far toobusy to teach young children to ridetheir bikes safely.” “Following consulta-tion with the Parks Department over thepast few months, I am happy toannounce they have reversed their deci-sion and they have erected new signsallowing the community to cycle onceagain in Newbridge Park,” La Combrecontinued. “These new signs allow forcycling as long as cyclists respect theright-of-way of pedestrians. I wantextend my heart-felt thanks to those inthe Parks Department of the Council fortaking this decision which will be ofgreat benefit to the entire community.”

Swords Pupils AreThe Write StuffIt was a great occasion for four pupils of St Colmcille’sGirls National School in Swords, when they won awardsin the EBS / INTO National Handwriting Competitionrecently.Celicia Leo won first prize in Category A and she wasdeclared as overall national winner, which was atremendous achievement for her. Another first prizewent to Emilia Verdijeve in Category D, whilst TaylorMooney came second in Category E. Alison Roode alsowon an award in Category F. To achieve such a highstandard took a lot of hard work and practice. “This is an unprecedented achievement for the school,”said a delighted principal, Bernadette Murtagh. “It is notunusual to win one prize, but to have four winners is awonderful achievement. Everyone in the school isdelighted with their achievements and we are extremelyproud of the girls. All the girls in the school take greatcare and attention with their handwriting and the stan-dard is increasing every year,” she said.

The bitter wind didn’t put thescouts from Portmarnock offwhen they went on a campingtrip to Arklow recently. The entire group were greatlylooking forward to the trip, andwhen they arrived they startedthe festivities in the traditionalscouting manner: they pitchedtheir tents, laid out theirsleeping mats and got thecampfire going. After a funfilled scavenger hunt, therewas a big campfire with lots ofthe traditional songs, yells andtoasting of marshmallows. The next day, the scouts hikedoff to Glenart Woods and didsome woodcraft activity, played‘Manhunt’, and then they wereinvited see around the RNLIstation and inspect the fabu-lous Arklow lifeboat. in theevening, they ventured back tocamp where Sarah Kearns and

Ross Walters were formallyinvested as a patrol leader andbrand new scout. Scout leaderPeter O’Kelly told the CountyLeader that these campingtrips were very important forthe scouts as they got to put all

their training into practice:“These trips are crucial for allour members as they get to puteverything they’ve learned intopractice,” he said. “We try toplan as many trips outdoors aspossible so they can learn howto survive outside. They haveplenty of fun as well as learningvaluable skill sets and the tripsare always really enjoyable.Everyone had a ball on thisone, despite the cold weather.”

Balbriggan StudentsStrongly ProtestLibrary CutsFollowing the news last week that up to 50 per cent ofhours were to be cut in the opening hours ofBalbriggan and Rush library, residents and localstudents from both areas have contacted the CountyLeader and expressed their anger and disappointmentthat such a vital community service is to be slashed. The students of Balbriggan Community College areone such group who are unwilling to stand by and lettheir feelings on the matter go unnoticed. Uponhearing the news, the students have launched a peti-tion to oppose these cuts and call on the relevantparties to overturn the decision to reduce accesshours to Balbriggan Library. The students say that the reduction will deprive themof much needed access, namely, after school hours toresearch, study facilities and resources associatedwith the late opening of the library. The students havealso passed on their survey to the students in Loreto

Secondary School and plan to contact ArdgillanCommunity School. Various students who signed the petition got in touchwith the County Leader to express their anger with theproposed decision. Leaving Certificate student JamieAndrews said: “I really object to the library closingearly. I use the library as a study area as it is the onlyplace where I can do so. I always use it to do myprojects as it is my only option, as I do not have accessto a computer or laptop.”Fellow Leaving Certificate student Ben Marry echoedthis sentiment also: “Many people in the town, espe-cially the students rely on the library facilities for theircomputers, books and the study items being avail-able. It’s ridiculous that they should close the libraryearly. How else will the students use it if it’s closed bythe time we’re finished school?”Local councillors are set to bring this urgent matter upwith the County Council at the next Local AreaMeetings, and the students will be eager to hear theirresponse to their petition. Pictured here are students from BalbrigganCommunity College with their petitions protesting theproposed cuts to the opening hours of BalbrigganLibrary.

Following a reported bird strike incident inJ a n u a r y l a s t , c o n c e r n e d r e s i d e n t s i nPortmarnock, through local Cllr Peter Coyle(Lab), requested a consultation with ESB onhow the flight path for swans could be madesafer. Prior to the meeting, Cllr Coyle haddiscussed the matter with Dr Richard Collinswho is a national expert on swans in an effortto find a solution to the issue. ESB Networks technician Jim McNally, whocovers the Portmarnock area, met with Coyleand a group of local residents on site. Hebrought the newest version of ‘game guards’available for display and outlined a plan forthe i r p lacement on the networks . “This d e v e l o p m e n t m e e t i n g r e c e i v e d a v e r y positive reaction from the group of concernedresidents, who are anxious that the area bemade safe for the swans,” Coyle told theCounty Leader.“Jim’s own expertise in wild life, especiallybirds, put him in a well placed position toassist us with the situation at Portmarnock,”

Coyle continued. “Over the years he hasworked on TV programmes with the late Dr.Eamon De Buitlear relating to wild life inRogerstown Estuary in Rush.”The overall outcome of the meeting was verypositive and Cllr Coyle and the group of resi-dents were confident that this will implementa solution which should greatly improve thesafety of flight paths for swans in the area.

This issue has beenraised with theCouncil a number oftimes in the past, yetno viable solution hasbeen reached. They want toexpand on their facili-ties in their currentlocation and are keen

to stay in the heart ofSwords,” he said.“This matter was

brought up again atthe recent Councilmeeting, and myselfand other Swordsrepresentatives fullyagreed with the tennis

Last week Neven Maguire threw hisweight behind Dublin Rotary Club’sfundraising endeavours to create aSensory Garden for students at theCentral Remedial Clinic (CRC). Nevendonated his time to do a cookerydemonstration. Two hundred happyfoodies bought tickets at €25 a headand thouroughly enjoyed his charm andcookery hints.A representative of CRC told the CountyLeader “There are approx 100 pupils inthe CRC School ranging in age from 3years in the pre-school up to 18 years atthe senior end of the school. From theirearly years, right through to the seniorclasses, environmental issues areexplored, the changing seasons, water, sunshine, growth and plant life. Thedevelopment of the current garden 'TheSecret Garden' enabled the pupils tocome out of doors into a safe environ-ment. The pupils all have a physicaldisability. Many are wheelchair usersand have hand function difficulties. Thedevelopment of the garden, with varyinglevels of raised beds enabled these chil-dren of all ages and sizes to access the soil, to feel it, to dig, plant and sow. Within a couple ofmonths, the garden had all types of wildlife, insects, butterflies, hoverflies, bees and ladybirdsthat the children could enjoy and learn to identify.A sensory kitchen garden would greatly enhance and build on the pupils’ experience in the 'SecretGarden.' To sow and tend herbs, fruit and vegetables for many would be a new experience. Thesenior pupils also train in independent living skills, including cooking. For these students, to beable to grow their own produce and use them later in their cooking, would be a real experience ofindependent living. The CRC also has a large canteen, serving the school and clinic clients andstaff. It would be a very worthwhile venture for the pupils of the school to supply the kitchen withherbs and salad for the canteen lunches. Working in the school garden might also begin a lifelonghobby for the future or lead to work after school in a garden centre.

Daly Blasts Cuts ToCommunion AndConfirmation Payments Many North County households are likely to beaffected by the Department of Social Protectiondiscontinuing the grants for First Communion andConfirmation costs. The department reduced thegrant last year from €242 to €112, before announcingan end to the scheme, last week. Local TD, Clare Daly (ULA) told the County Leader,“Taking action to deal with the excessive spendingaround Communion and Confirmations by hardpressed families is a good thing. However, theGovernment’s method of dealing with this by axingsocial welfare payments is one which causesconcern. It opens up the possibility of children from

lesser off families beingexcluded and stigmatisedbecause their parents simplycannot afford to dress themin the manner in which theirpeers are being turned out.” She went on to propose asolution to the problem, bysaying, “I believe that theway in which this issueshould be tackled is a holistic

one. The Department of Education and the Churchesshould direct schools that no child is to appear at anyof these gatherings in anything other than theirschool uniform, or a simple robe which could beeasily hired and rented for the day as many schoolsdo. This is the only way to deal with this issue prop-erly, rather than just cutting benefits to the lowerpaid,” she concluded.

Problems For BalbrigganPrimary Care CentreThe proposed Primary care centre in Balbrigganhas had to be redesigned after it was describedas “disappointing” by council architects. They maintained that plans were disappointingfor what “should be a public building” in a reportthat may have far reaching consequences. Areport by the council’s chief architect, FionnualaMay and Balbriggan town architect, CelineO’Rourke listed serious concerns, maintaining

that the building “should have a civic qualityrather than a commercial speculative appearanceas shown in the application. The proposed devel-opment has chosen not to take into regard themassing and language of the existing Balbriggantown fabric.” The report also said that the CountyCouncil is committed to the promotion of contem-porary architecture, however, the languagechosen here is not confident and resolved,” thereport concluded. Council officials then asked fora revised design and additional information onthe initial plans, before deciding whether or notto grant permission for the centre.

PROUT SECURIT

Well, the answer is closer than you think.Prout Security Systems have been securingthe homes and business premises of peoplein the North County and further afield for thepast 10 years and they have an office at 15Drogheda Street, Balbriggan.Owner, Kevin Prout is a Balbriggan nativeand he came into the security business as a

result of his background in electronics. “Istudied at DIT in Dundalk and went toGateway 2000 and then on to work in TellLabs in Drogheda. When that companyclosed down, I decided to concentrate onalarms and then decided to go out on myown.”“Our service and value for money is second

to none. If someone rings me today, we’ll tryto get to them that day, or the next day, ifpossible and if they have a maintenancecontract, they will be seen right away. Wenever turn anyone away and we do theabsolute best we can. The most importantthing to us is that we leave with a happycustomer and that they have confidence intheir alarm.” Kevin employs three staffmembers, who are fully trained in all aspectsof the business. Prout Security certainly has all the certifica-tions you would expect from such a profes-sional company. Kevin explained, “We have acertification from the National StandardsAuthority of Ireland (NSAI) and we’relicensed to the Private Security Authority, which helps to ensure that our work isalways of the highest quality.”

“We can install wired and wireless intruderalarms, which are generally fitted to thewindows as vibration sensors to prevent anintruder entering. This is the best practice,as an intruder has not stepped into a prem-ises. We also provide a few forms of commu-nication to the client, via the phone line, texting, voice call and our monitoringstation, which is Group 4 Security. Anotherform of communication, without a phone lineis a GSM unit, which uses a SIM card to textyou or a radio which transmits directly to themonitoring station,” said Kevin. The company also installs domestic andcommercial CCTV, which includes digitalvideo recorders, cameras, power suppliesand monitors. With the advancement in tech-nology, you can watch your CCTV over anetwork, your PC, your mobile phone, on anapp, or on all your televisions in the house. They also use a commercial CCTV beamsystem, which works around the periphery ofthe building, about five metres out. Kevinexplained how this works. “We can squareoff the building with the beams.

Kevin Prout (on left) is pictured with staff members, Grzegorz Porzega and Mark O'Brien.

We first approached Prout Security Ltdfor a quotation on installing a moni-tored alarm and CCTV system at the

construction stage of our new HardwareSuperstore. They contacted us speedily with a mostcompetitive quotation. We found them to becourteous, professional and met any dead-lines required. Their after sales service wassecond to none, which is vital in today’s busi-ness environment. We were so impressedthat we also employed Prout SecuritySystems to install security systems inboth of our dwelling homes.

We required a new Intruder alarmsystem and Prout Security were very

competitive and completed the job over theChristmas holidays, and this was verymuch appreciated, as it was time normallyspent with your family. This was ideal forthe school, as all students and staff wereon holidays. The job was completed without any prob-lems and on time. They were clean, effi-cient and professional in their approach.

I would have no problem in recom-mending Prout Security to anyone.

With an alarming rise in the number of burglaries recently, peopleneed to feel secure in their houses, now more than ever. Similarly, commercial premises are also very vulnerable to the opportunisticburglar. But how can we protect our properties in a way that fulfils allof our requirements?

If the beam breaks, it sends a signal throughto a monitoring station, where they can seewhat caused the problem. If it’s a person, youcan talk through the speakers and let them

know they are trespassing and that the Gardaiare on their way and warn them to leave imme-diately. This works in almost all situations. They also supply fire alarms for commercialpremises. “We fitted fire alarms in a number ofschools in the area, as well as pubs and facto-ries. We fit smoke and heat detectors, breakglass units and sounders. We fit them out tothe various levels needed for each premises. We then check them, depending on the type ofstructure. If a premises is fitted with a burglaralarm, a fire activation will trigger the burglaralarm and therefore, it will be transmitted to amonitoring station, alerting the key holder andthe fire brigade. The company also specialises in AccessControl, which is a system, whereby thecustomer can deny access to someone they donot wish to enter. A person can press theintercom, which has a magnetic lock on it .Access is gained when the intercom releasebutton is pressed by the customer.

The company also has a huge amount ofmaintenance contracts for Fire Alarms, CCTV,Access Controls and indeed the entire range.“It makes up around 30 per cent of our busi-ness. We offer excellent value for what weprovide and our maintenance contractincludes two checks per year, and all callouts are included.Kevin said, “We don’t do a lot of sales blurb.I’m an installer and I know how to do thejob, that wil l satisfy the needs of my

Prout Security installed my alarm. Theywere fast, efficient, competitive andvery neat and tidy. After I was burgled,

I felt very vulnerable in my home. But sinceProut Security installed my alarm, I cannow sleep peacefully at night.

North County Livingby Jennifer McShane

A Hands OnApproach

Bernadette Coady from River Valley has been livingin Swords for the past 23 years and is a communityvolunteer in every sense of the word. She truly caresabout the place she lives and wants to see it lookingits absolute best. This she says is what drives her tovolunteer with the various groups around RiverValley, helping them recruit other volunteers anddoing whatever she can to help. Bernadette is currently living in River Valley with her12 year old daughter Olivia and, like most of ourmodest North County Living candidates, she is reluc-tant to speak about her own efforts in her commu-nity, instead saying that much more credit is due tothose around her. But Bernadette deserves as muchcredit as any of her fellow volunteers as she gener-ously gives up much of her own free time and effortsfor the benefit of those living in the area. She isquick to point out that she is also eager to speak onbehalf of all her fellow volunteers, who contribute somuch to the local community. “I’ve always loved being a part of community lifeand loved living in River Valley,” she told the CountyLeader. “I always got great satisfaction helpingothers. Whether it be something big or somethingsmall, I’ve always believed that every little countsand that a little goes a long way.” Bernadette wantsto give a special mention to allthe other volunteers who helpout whenever things need doing.“I help out and do whatever Ican, but I also have so muchadmiration for the rest of thevolunteers who all do so much. Alot of people in the area reallywork so hard so it’s important tocredit them as well.”The River Valley Resident hasbeen a member of Crosscare, anassociation that amongst otherthings offers Carer’s Support forover a decade and has verypersonal reasons for joining. “Iwas looking after my mother,Teresa after she sadly had astroke when a nurse recom-mended the group to me. They’re really fantasticand have given me wonderful support over theyears. I’ve really come out of my shell since joiningthem, they have so many activities on and I evenlearnt to knit which I could never do before. She has a very active lifestyle and is always up doingsomething. “I suppose you could say that I’ve a very‘hands on’ approach when it comes to getting thingsdone around the area. I’ll literally knock on doors totry and recruit people. You could most definitely callme persistent!” All of Bernadette’s and the othervolunteers hard work has certainly paid off as RiverValley and the surrounding areas are looking betterthan ever. She has been very busy lately as the RiverValley Rathingle Residents Association prepares toenter the Urban Village and Tidy Estate competitions(which are part of the overall Tidy Towns competi-tion), so chances are you’’ll see her out and about

with the other volunteers as they start a big push toget the area spick and span over the next fewweeks. Bernadette is well known around River Valley andthough she is very humble about her involvement,it’s obvious from our chat that she puts a hugeamount of effort into working with all the volunteersto keep things looking their best. Her efforts havealso been highly commended by her friend OliveBlack who works with the Fingal Voluntary Forum(and was also a North County Living candidate a fewweeks back), but she shrugs all this off, saying she’shappy to do it for the betterment of the community.“It’s really a fantastic feeling, knowing you’ve donesomething nice for someone else and everyonearound you,” she continues. “It can be somethingreally simple that makes all the efforts worth it, likeseeing the flowers you’ve planted bloom and it’salso lovely to have that sense of involvement. I reallyenjoy the social aspect of it as well.” She mentions the Residents Association, SwordsYouth Service and River Valley Community Centre asbeing the heart of the community and says that overthe years something really positive has happened inthe area - the active involvement of the children inmany community activities. “A highlight for me has

been seeing more and moreyoung people get involved. I’venoticed more and more youngerchildren helping around theplace, and that’s really wonderfulto see.” She says that much creditfor the younger people’s involve-ment is down to Ger Robinson ofthe Swords Youth Service. “Shereally went back to basics andactively encouraged the youngerones to come and enjoy their owncommunity, and that’s somethingthat I would have been taught bymy own mother from a veryyoung age. She had me doingsmall errands for neighbours andother things, even if I wasn’t thateager!,” she said, laughing.

Bernadette says that she has passed these valueson to her daughter Olivia. “I definitely think thathaving that attitude of helping others instilled in youfrom a young age really makes a difference. Mymother instilled it in me, I’m passing it onto mydaughter and hopefully in years to come she’ll passthis on to her own children as well.” When she’s not volunteering, she says she lovesspending time with her daughter who she is veryclose to and she loves to write, walking and knit. She also loves travelling and sun holidays, and saysher favourite place in the world is the south ofFrance, which she tries to get to once a year. Interms of the future she’s looking forward to get thearea ready for the Tidy Towns contest and encour-ages anyone who’d like to help out to get involved.“Even if it’s just for an hour, it all helps and we’re soappreciative of it,” she concluded.

A goal of mine for the futurewould definitely be to get into the direct news reporting side of things, so I’ll be out meetingthe people directly and getting their thoughts ondifferent topics.”The Swords lady says she has always been extremelyinterested in Current Affairs (which she says she getsfrom her dad), so her work on Prime Time is reallyperfect for her. “It’s so exciting when we go to air!”Aside from her day job, which she says takes up themajority of her time, she mentions the work she’sdone previously. Another fine example of the work oflocal landscaping company, VirgoeMcEnery can be seen at the entranceto Knocksedan Demesne, nearSwords. As the County Council don’tmaintain the green areas in theestate, the residents contribute annu-ally to a Property Managementcompany in order to keep the area inpristine condition.Local resident, Pat Ward is a directorof the Knocksedan ManagementCompany and he told the CountyLeader about how he came to use the services of Virgoe McEnery. “Dave Smith, who is also adirector of the management company, and I decided that it would be fitting to have a featureat the entrance to Knocksedan, which would be acceptable to all and that would improve thearea. At this time, we were unsure about what sort of feature would be suitable.”He continued, “Our only problem was to employ the services of a company that suited our

requirements. In order to get value for money, we shortlistedthree landscaping companies. We selected Virgoe McEnery onthe basis that we were hugely impressed with what theyproposed for the area. They costed a number of designs and Imet Michael McEnery on a number of occasions. He came upwith a design that fully complimented the estate. We decidedon a mound feature that would be safe and be enjoyed by all.”Pat was very impressed with how Virgoe McEnery went abouttheir business. “The service they provided was excellent andthey worked in a very timely fashion. They were great atreturning calls and you instantly knew you were in good hands. They even completed some unfinished work that the builderhad left behind. It appeared as if the project was completedovernight, such was their speed and professionalism. We have

nothing but the height of respect for Michael and his team and how they conducted their busi-ness. The quality of their work and the timely fashion in which they undertook the job as wellas value for money was a credit to the company,” he concluded.

Thank You!
