Staff in Universities and CoJlefei arid Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in HigherEducation 4th Amendment); iRegulations, 2016t, the teaching fraternity who;'intend to apply forthe positions of Professors#issociate Professors and those positions whdrever API score isapplicable,are facing difficult! to apply as th"d University is still in the pfmess of devising a

standardi/ed API Proforma, mentioning all the parameters in accordance with the above said

amendment

In view of the above, it is circulated for the information of all concerned'that the Universityauthorities have taken due cognizance of the said difficulty being faced by the faculty members

& as such will provide afaif opportunity to all the applicants to apply onCe again as per the

Standardized API Proforma when finalized and is approved by the Competent Authority of the

University along with the list of Journals and a fresh advertisement notice shall be issued for the

purpose accordingly. ,

Further, those who have already applied in response to the above said advertisement may also

send their updated CVs/details of the Publications as per the standardized University approved

API Proforma proposed to be uploaded.on the Jammu University website, once the same is

finalized and the fresh advenisement notice is issued. They will howeven..be exempted frompaying any fresh application fee.
