�The Stabaxol® product range is well known as highly efficient stabilizers for
hydrolysis protection of polyesters.
�Nevertheless they have limited access to some applications due to the fact
that Stabaxol requires processing at elevated temperatures.
�Some applications like adhesives or cold cast polyurethanes are processed
at room temperature and therefore cannot be stabilized with the conventional
Stabaxol® product range.
�The project aimed for stabilizers that are highly reactive at room
temperature and can be handled easily.

Application 3: Hydrolytic Stability of polyester based cold cast PU-Elastomer
Hydrolysis protection achieved:
Retention of the tensile strength with very low concentrations of Stabaxol® MTC
Limit of usability:
Tensile strength retention of 80 %

� Stabaxol® MTC provides the desired properties:
• Liquid at room temperature

• As hydrolysis stabilizer in polyester based cold cast
PU-Elastomers
