l. Competition lnformation

1. EventsThe Sepaktakraw competition will be contested in Regu Event only.

a. Regu event (Boys) - Maximum of 5 players and a minimum of3 players (Age - 17 years old below)with one coach and team manager

b. Regu event (Girls) - Maximum of 5 players and a minimum of3 players (Age - 17 years old below)with one coach and team manager

c. lnterested tGUs may register one(1) team in the boy'sregu event and one(1) teomin the girl's regu event

2. Competition schedulesTo be announced afterthe draw lots.

II. GENERAL RUTES AND REGUTATIONS

1. Rules

The Sepaktakraw competition will be conducted in accordance with therules of The lnternational Sepoktokrow Federation (ISTAF) and the AsianSepakakraw Federation ( ASTAF) . Any unforeseen incidence not coveredby the rules will be dealt in accordance with the existing ISTAF and ASTAF

rules.

2. ETIGIBITITY RUIETo be eligible for participation, a competitor must comply with the PSC andPASTA requirements, and in the event of protest and disputes, PSC andPASTA Technical guidelines will be fully implemented.

4. Technical meetingThe technical meeting of managers and coaches will be held in the morningbefore the start of the competition in the afternoon. Drawing of lots will be

done during the team managers/solidarity meeting.

III. COMPETITION RUTES

1. The Philippine Amateur Sepaktakraw Association (PASTA) is responsibleand has full control of the technical organization of the competition in

consultation with the Notionol Botong Pinoy 2016 organizingcom mittee.

IV. SYSTEM OF COMPETITION

1. All events will be played in a single round robin. The team whogarnered the most number of wins will be declared as champion.

2. ln case there are more than 8 teams they will be divided into two groups

and play the single round robin with cross-over, ln the event there are

more than 16-39 teams, they will be divided into four groups, and for 40teams and above, they will be divided into eight groups and play thesingle round robin in the elimination round. Top One team only in eachgroup will advance to the single elimination crossover semi finals.

a. The technical officials (match and line referees, etc) will be

appointed by the Sepaktakraw Referees Association of thePhilippines (STRAP) and Philippine Amateur SepaktakrowAssociation (PASTA) in conjunction with the technicalcommittee chairman of Notionol Botang Pinoy 2076.

3. Each Regu shall consist of a minimum of three (3) players and a

maximum of 5 players upon a match.

4. The regu event shall be played in a best of 3 sets. ln case each regu win a

set, tie breaker set will be played.

5. lt is required that a team should bring two sets of uniform during thegame and an ARMBAND as stipulated in the rules of the Bame forSepaktakraw.

6. Competition uniform should be numbered in accordance with the ruleof the game for Sepaktakraw (only number 1-36 can be used).

7. A team is required to report to the playing area 30 minutes before theiractual game. Failure to do so, the official referee at his discretion maydisqualify or default the team.

8. There will be scheduling and re-scheduling of games upon the discretionof the Technical committee.

9. Coaches who have not attended the solidarity conference will not be

entertained regarding questions on technicalities before, during, andafter the match.

l0.Coaches must be in proper dress code.

11. Each team must be prepared to play more than once in a day.

lz.RULE OF SUCCESSION WILL BE FOLLOWED.

V. TIE BREAKER

ln case of tie the following options will be done:a. double tie - win over the otherb. triple or more tie
