Colour analysis- Adele Colours used across Adele’s

Media

The main colour palette of the

singer Adele is black and white.

This is connoting to her

audience that she is serious

about her work and also some

may be old fashioned because

a common stereotype of blackand white is that it is old media.

The black may also suggest that

her songs may contain

sad/depressing lyrics, this is

because black connotes death

and sadness. However she has a splash of

the colour green, drawing your

eye towards that area. This

causes the audience to

remember the piece of media as

it stands out from the background

However the colour accents can connote joy and

Fonts After researching artists from my music genre I found that autographic/calligraphic/ block

capital letters, which are either modern or old fashioned style, fonts are the mostcommon used for the artists name and song/album title. So using urbanfonts.com I

have found some samples that I feel fit the genre of my artist.

Here are some block capital examples:

Fonts continuedHere are some autographic fonts. I feel these would be applicable as they appear to behand written such as a signature.
