First thing to do today in math class
• Find your assigned seat on seating chart.• Using the 3 x 5 card that you received, print
your first and last name neatly on the lined side. You will also write your student number for this class on the same side of the 3 x 5 card. Write your class period on the unlined side.

Classroom/Homework assignment number 1
• Assignment – Who Am I? 5 paragraphs• The first 2 paragraphs should include information about
yourself - family, what you like, what your plans for future are and what you did this summer – include how you used math.
• The next 2 paragraphs tell what you know about math – be specific, what is easy for you, what you have a difficult time understanding – again be specific. What makes it easier for you to learn such as working with a partner, studying in class, time to get one on one help? Be as specific as possible.
• The last paragraph will tell what you would do if you were a millionaire or a billionaire. (Songs will be playing while you write.)
