Anniversary Celebration with Hill Anniversary Celebration with Hill Anniversary Celebration with Hill Anniversary Celebration with Hill

One hundred years ago, a group of members was commissioned by our congregation to plant a new church on the hill above town. From those seeds, the congregation we now know as Hill United Presbyte-rian Church developed. On June 26, our congregations will come to-gether once again for a service of worship in celebration of Hill’s Cen-tennial Anniversary. Join us for worship and a reception in the Bethany

Room immediately following the service. Come celebrate what amazing things God has done!

RUMMAGE SALE THANK YOU

A big thank you to everyone who helped with this year's rummage sale. It's a huge un-dertaking and we could not do it without the help of so many dedicated volunteers. Thank you to everyone who donated items, sorted, organized, and priced items, helped set-up on Wednesday, and helped with the sale on Friday and Saturday. Thanks also to our fabulous Saint Andrews bakers. Between the bake sale and the rummage sale, we raised $1450 for the General Fund of Saint Andrews!

Dig out and dust off your picnic basket for our annual Church Picnic on Sun-day, June 5th. We’ll gather at the Miller Shelter by the playground in Butler

Memorial Park. Hot dogs and beverages will be provided. Please bring a side dish or a dessert to share. We’ll enjoy the old favorites… Bingo, games for the children, a scavenger hunt and the dessert contest. If you don’t have something to share, that’s OK too! Plan on joining us for the fun and fellowship as we always have plenty to go

around. Hope to see you there!

First Sunday Mission Offering

Our next First Sunday Mission Offering will be received

on Sunday, June 5th. The offering will help fund the work of Presbyterian

Disaster Assistance in Haiti. Even with the many disasters that have come

since the devastation in Haiti, the needs of that country remain important.

Before the earthquake, Haiti had few resources and many Haitians lived in

deplorable conditions. The earthquake made those conditions significantly

worse. Workers from Presbyterian Disaster Assistance continue their efforts

to rebuild, repair, feed and clothe with our help. Your gifts can bring tangi-

ble help and hope to those who are suffering. If you would like to make a

donation, simply mark your check “Hope for Haiti” or use one of the special

envelopes in the pew racks. Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti

and for all those involved in the relief efforts.

Saint Andrews needs a few good bakers. We are supplying desserts for Meals on Wheels for the month of July. Ideas for baked goods include:
