lynette Samuel Lynee Samuel is the author of several children’s books that reflect the diversity of families. These books creatively communicate and colorfully illustrate moms and dads and kids in everyday activities with twists and fun-filled adventures. Parents purchasing the books for their children say, “I used to wear my dad’s t-shirts,” or “I’m a middle child,” and “This happens in my house!” Each story is family oriented. A product innovator, Lynee created and designed a children’s stationery line – ‘Lunch Box Napkins’ and ‘Lunch Line.’ These products feature brightly colored napkins with special sayings for kids who carry a lunchbox or for school cafeterias desiring to promote and enhance wholesome environments in their school lunch rooms. Lynee’s products have sold nationally and she has received editorial reviews in Entrepreneur, Good Housekeeping, Parents, and Women’s circle magazines. She’s held author signings at Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, and Borders Books & Music and was the selected author for Barnes & Noble “Writer’s Harvest.” Scholastics Storyworks Magazine has purchased several of her stories. Founder and president, of a nonprofit organization, Lynee heads LifeSkills for Women, an agency that empowers women to move from fear to faith and pursue their goals of higher education and obtain marketable skills for gainful employment. She has recently partnered with The Augusta Chronicle to publish a newspaper; [Aspire] that specifically speaks to moms who may be moving from welfare to work or embarking on a new career. Lynee enjoys sharing her experience as a writer and entrepreneur in classrooms, small groups, and business seminars. She is dynamic, creative, and insightful.
