Indian Traditional Tales Familiarise yourself with the story of The Tiger Child. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVXgh9Dce-U

Listen to the story again and think about the character of the Tiger Child. Collect words to describe him (e.g. adjectives,

adverbs, verbs & prepositions).

Write a character description of the Tiger child. Paragraph 1 should explain what he looks like, paragraph 2 could explain his

behaviour/personality/actions, and paragraph 3 could tell the reader of your

character description how he became the first domesticated cat according to the

tale.

Perform a Shadow Play Why not write a playscript or practise a play for someone using your puppet(s). Remember to plan how you will cast your shadows and how you can make your puppets look like they are moving and like they are approaching/retreating by making the shadows bigger/smaller (can you remember how to do this?).
