Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (BSE: 500520) is part of the Indian Industrial Conglomerate Mahindra Group based in Mumbai.

The company was set up in 1945 in Ludhiana as Mahindra & Mohammed by brothers K.C. Mahindra and J.C. Mahindra along with Malik Ghulam Mohammed.

In 1947 , Mahindra introduced India to utility vehicles. More than 65 years later Mahindra is the premier utility vehicle company of India.

In addition to making groundbreaking utility vehicles like Scorpio, Bolero etc Mahindra also offers cars, electric vehicles, pickups and commercial vehicles that are rugged, reliable, environmental friendly and fuel efficient.

Mahindra has now entered into 2 wheelers market too and the motor bikes which are produced are very reliable, light weight and fuel efficient.
