Table full of facts: RDS source filters hard-to-find facts, trends and moreWhen you need facts—survey results, statistics, trends, demographics, etc.—you can find them with Responsive Database Service’s TableBase (aka RDS Tablebase in your nexis.com® subscription).

This source specializes exclusively in tabular data on companies, industries, products and demographics, culled from the more than 1,800 publications included in RDS’s Business & Industry database, privately published statistical annuals, trade associations, government agencies, non-profit research groups and industry reports prepared by investment research groups.

The table is the focus of each record, and where available, the originating full text is included with the record. Articles containing multiple tables appear as multiple documents. Tables are indexed for topics such as market share, company and brand rankings, industry and product forecasts, production and consumption statistics, imports and exports, number of users/outlets and much more.

The simple search form makes it easy to enter search terms. Or choose terms from drop-down lists, i.e.:

1. Select an industry, e.g., ENTER: banking

2. Choose a subject or publication section, e.g., ENTER: ad budget

3. Select a region, e.g., ENTER: United States

Then click Search. You can download most table data provided. Many documents also offer links for ordering the document in print from the originating publication.
