LedHut’s GU10 LED Lamp provides exceptional performance of up to 500 lumens and is aesthetically and intelligently designed to significantly reduce energy consumption and deliver long life performance: exceeding an incredible maintenance free 50,000 hours.

Due to the final phase of the ban on traditional light bulbs coming into effect, retailers are no longer able to order new stock. Consumers will soon be unable to buy 40W or 25W bulbs in what is the last stage of a phased programme which began in 2009 and has already seen 100W and 60W bulbs banned. Incandescent bulbs are being targeted because they waste 95% of energy used as heat. LED’s are now much more stylish and highly cost-effective across their whole lifetime, using even less electricity, longer life expectancy and they reach full brightness instantly. LED Bulbs intended to be interchangeable with incandescent lamps are made in standard light bulb shapes with connections such as E14, E27 Edison Screw and B22 Bayonet.

An LED Strip Light is known by a number of phrases, including LED Tape, LED Strip and LED Ribbon. They generally all refer to the same product, which, to keep things simple, is a low voltage LED strip available in either 12v or 24v. They are basically 8mm or 10mm wide runs of evenly spaced LED chips which when mounted out of the direct line of sight, provide a smooth and uniform glow of light, ideal for illuminating under cabinets, bars and coving.

Flexible LED Tape has exploded in popularity in recent years. With LED tape, you can create unique atmospheres and visual effects that were not previously possible with the added benefit of low power consumption and excellent reliability.

LED tube lights are manufactured to the highest possible standards making them an ideal item for replacing old fluorescent tubes. They use high quality LED chips which emit a great output of light as well as being very reliable. They are ideal for illuminating homes, offices and workplaces.

Total Quality Control

Our method of total quality control, also called total quality management, is an approach that extends beyond ordinary quality control techniques and quality improvement methods. We operate a complete overview and re-evaluation of the specification of a product, rather than just considering a more limited set of changeable features within an existing product. If the original specification does not reflect the correct quality requirements, quality cannot be inspected or manufactured into the product. For instance, the design of a GU10 LED should include not only the material and dimensions, but also operating/performance, environmental, safety, reliability and maintainability requirements, and documentation of findings about these requirements.
