ConceptThis duo of apartment towers is located on the former site of the Chicago Spire, just west of Lake Shore Drive. The towers are comprised of three stacked blocks split into two towers. Located near major tourist attractions, these new mixed-use towers serve as the focul point for a developing neighborhood.

ConceptThree buildings form this archaelogy complex at the base of Paisano Peak in Marfa, Texas. Each structure is devoted to a diff erent program that creates a journey for the many visitors to the center. This series of buildings uses a rammed earth structure on the south side of each building as protection from the harsh sun of the Texan desert.

ConceptA dysfunctional terminal station of the CTA utilizes new land over the Dan Ryan Expressway. A faceted, light-weight steel canopy encloses all modes of transportation in and out of the station. Priority was designated to pedestrians, followed by the fl ow of public transit vehicles.
