U neposrednoj blizini nalazi se i Park prirode Telaščica, također izdvojen kao zaštićeni dio prirode

Jedan od najvažnijih i najvećih močvarnih područja Europe

Dio je izdvojen pod strogu zaštitu kao specijalni zoološki rezervat

Briga o okolišu je rezultirala potpuno netaknutošću močvarnog prostora
