Ⅰ. Preparation and Setup

1. Precaution

Full-recharge the 2 batteries before going to work site.

During the setup of instrument, carefully hold the handle at all time.

Don’t put instrument directly on the ground.

Working in a rainy day please use rain cover to protect instrument.Working under strong sunlight, don’t aim to the sun, please use solar filter.

In case of non-using for long time, separate battery from instrument. Recharge the battery 1 time each month.

Don’t stare into laser!

Install offset point on the left or right side of the target point, as close as possible to target. The target height and offset point height should be same.

5. Resection

Resection is used to find the coordinate of station point by measuring some known points.

When the distance can be measured, at least 2 known points are required.When it is impossible to measure distance, at least 3 known points are required.

Connect the computer and the total station by a serial cable, run our transfer software , choose COM COMpara , this interface will appear
