We have received a pledged amount of close to $126,779. This includes over 32% of our families. We have over 1,300 families in our parish and hope for 100% participation. Remember, all the money over our goal stays with our parish for our own needs. All the money collected now goes to our stain glass window fund. Greetings in Christ! Below is a short letter I received from Father Shane Stevens, a former pastor of Sacred Heart Parish. He was very instrumental in planting the seeds to bring this to fruition. We had a wonderful concert to hear the wide range of sounds that can come from this instrument. We plan on having another concert in the next few months and hopefully we will make an organ concert an annual event in the parish. We thank Father Shane Stevens for all the ground work he did while he was pastor here. Well done! Dear Fr. Mark, Greetings from St. Louise Tallahassee, Florida! It is hot and humid here! I was unable to see and hear some of the samples of the new organ at Sacred Heart. I heartily congratulate you and the parish, in this accomplishment. Father Steve LaCanne will speak at all the Masses on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach which was founded to create a meaningful link between parishes in America and the priests and nuns working in the Church overseas in the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Central and South America. Brochures will be provided if you wish to support this worthy Catholic ministry. As we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord this weekend let us anticipate the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. I ask you to pray for all the seminarians on retreat in Omaha. I am privileged to help with spiritual direction for four of these young men. Pray that they become good and holy priests. Pray also for seminarian, Nate Allen, a parishioner from our parish, who will be on the same retreat. Pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious/consecrated life! Wisdom from the Saints The Church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon ship, but to keep her on her course - St. Boniface (feast day June 5th)

Fr. Patrick's Summer Book Club A summer book club lead by Fr. Patrick will meet Wednesday evenings and read Orthodoxy by G.K. Ches-terton. It's a great introduction to one of the most intri-guing Christian thinkers of the 20th Century. We will read the book together as we discuss it, so outside reading is suggested by not required. Meetings will be Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in the parish hall, starting on June 12. We'll provide everything you need.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Pentecost Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, June 9th at 1pm in the parish hall. All families involved with CGS, as well as families inter-ested in CGS, are invited to come.

STATE ‘A’ GIRLS GOLF TOURNAMENT @ Lee Park in Aberdeen June 3-4, 2019 Roncalli is the host school for the State A tourney this sum-mer and we want to make this THE BEST STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT EVER!!!! AND we need your help to do it. A GREAT golf tournament can only happen with GREAT volunteers. We are in the hunt for anyone willing to help. You DON’T have to know anything about the game of golf to help. Volunteer for one or both days. Just contact Stacy Ko-kales to get on the list. [email protected] or call RHS at 226-2100. We need: Markers (score keeper), Ball Spotters, Offi-cial Scorers, and Hospitality. Can't be there in person but want to help?
