Used Machines for Sale! Roland introduces a new and exciting rotary printing at-tachment now available for the VersaUV LEF-20 – the RotaPrint. Designed specifically for use with the LEF-20, the RotaPrint makes 360-degree printing on cylindrical items made of plastic, glass, ceramic or metals a breeze.
The RotaPrint is extremely well built and ingenious in its sim-plicity. The attachment itself features no external electrical or mechanical components. Instead, it relies only on the move-ment of the LEF-20 to drive the rotation of the object to be printed. As the bed on the LEF moves forward, the RotaPrint’s wheels (which make contact with the bed) are rotated, and in turn, rotate the object being printed on. Installation of the RotaPrint is simple, making it easy to change from cylindrical printing back to standard flatbed print-ing. Setting up your printing area and artwork in VersaWorks is also easy. Using the lower-right base position, set your start point as you normally would and then continue with your width and length. Determining the length is where I’ve seen some people get a little confused, but if you just think of this as the total circum-ference of the bottle, it starts to make sense quickly.
