Needless to say there’s only 1 Queen of Pop: MADONNA. Her career spans from the 80s to present day, she has a global following of generations, she is the ultimate and most celebrated Pop Star on the planet. Next February will be the 20th Anniversary of her 7th Studio album RAY OF LIGHT. It won four Grammy Awards from a total of 6 nominations and it peaked at number one in many countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, and the UK. Ray of Light had the biggest first week of sales by a female artist at the time and has sold more than 16 million copies worldwide. Forever re-inventing herself, her influence over fashion and pop culture over the last 40 years is insurmountable. Come on, let’s celebrate!

90’s HIP HOP: WU TANG/GHOSTFACE KILLAH Wu Tang member, Ghostface Killah, has recently launched his very own digital currency called the ‘Cryptocoin’! Ghostface’s digital coin will be called CREAM and he aims to take over more than half of the global cryptocurrency ATM market by 2020! Bank of Ghostface, who’d have thought! Wu Tang are also planning to revive their Wu Wear clothing line next year. They first introduced their merch back in ’95 but it discontinued in 2008. Members RZA and Power said that Wu Wear was the first Hip Hop line to be in the windows of Macy’s, now they want to re-enter the market with a re-energised collection…watch out for Wu Wear, it’s the new Wu you!

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE: Formed in 1996 Palm Desert California, Queens of the Stone Age have just announced a huge summer 2018 gig in London which includes Iggy Pop, Run the Jewells and more all-star support acts. They are also playing the European festival circuit having already announced a few shows already: NOS Alive and INMusic in Croatia. Queens of the Stone Age released their critically acclaimed seventh studio album ‘Villains’ earlier this year. They have already graced ‘Album of the Year’ lists and, more importantly, have been nominated for ‘Best Rock Album’ at the 60th Grammy Awards 2018. QOTSA going from strength to strength. 2018 will be an amazing year for them, just watch this space.
