Family Bank Customers & “Unite Bahrain”  Customers  were  nominated  from  both  Grameen  &  MEF  team,  such beneficiaries were very  satisfied  that  they were able  to participate  in  the carnival “Unite Bahrain” after the economical recession that occurred in our Dear Bahrain. This event supported & enhanced their financial and business development as it is shown in the below customer evaluation scheme for all participants, however  the below  shows  the  assessment of  the  customers who participated in public for their first time:  

1‐   Shahla Yousif Mohammed,  is an MEF customer who owns the shop of  Yalda  Sweets.  It was  her  first  time  to  present  her  bakery  food, delicious sweets and cakes in public. She was very impressed that the bank appointed her to participate  in the event and this non‐financial support  encouraged  her  to  increase  production  of  creative &  tasty food which matches the theme of the Bahraini event. Shahla gained a profit of an 85% which mostly covered the cost she spent on the food processing during the carnival.

 2‐ Salwa  Abdulla  Qasim,  is  a  Grameen  customer  who  has  an  artistic 

touch  for  making  creative  giveaways  which  depends  on  different occasions.  Salwa  was  very  optimized  that  she  had  the  chance  to participate  in  the event and present  to  the public her products,  she said that this first step of participation made her more encouraged to take part in any other up‐coming events. Her gain from this event was double the profit she was expected to make.
