Hutt Central School Newsletter No 9– 2 April 2015 Kia ora Tatou, This is our last Newsletter for this term and I would like to thank the students, staff, parents and community for a great term. It was fantastic to share a meal last night at our Hangi with everyone who came along and I would like to give a huge thank you to the team of volunteers who came together to make this event possible. The student’s waiata was excellent and it was a great welcome for our kai. Kath Leach is taking leave for the rest of this year and Jan Braddock, who has been working in Room 10 for this term will continue for the rest of 2015. Last Friday was the last day of Touch Rugby for Term 1. I would like to congratulate all of our students who played in a team. I am really pleased that our students are taking the opportunity to try out the sports on offer and I would like to thank the teachers, coaches and managers for organising the teams. Please take care over the Easter period and enjoy your break. I look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for Term 2 on the 20th of April.
