Problem: When a Microsoft-based or non-Microsoft-based operating system is installed, the built-in wireless LAN module (wifi) is not being detected or unable to scan for wireless network (SSID). Solution: 1) Please make sure Wireless Power Control in CMOS setup is set to On or Switch by AP, or Always On. 2) For Windows operating system, please make sure Control AP is installed properly and launched to turn on/off the built-in wifi. 3) For other operating systems such as Linux or Ubuntu, BIOS is needed to be updated to version XS35SCG.109.
